The murder mystery is deepened by the discovery in Or Carmen's attic of an unopened box of cartridges similar to those used. Carmen reports that while returning from a professional call a man tired at him. but he managed to escape by increasing the speed of his motor. A man and a woman corroborate this evidence bur. the police discredit the story.
[A Society woman was found shot dead in the consulting rooms of Dr Carmen, a fashionable New York doctor, recently.]
