I- A CANADIAN BILL. ; [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.] - (Per Press Association.) Received June p, at 1 p.m. Ottawa, June 8. Mr Stevens has introduced: ah' AntiAsiatics Bill. He., said the objections to Asiatics in Western 'Canada were not offensive to foreign countries, but the quest-ion- was whether a. line was to be drawn against, the admission of Asiatics or whether they were to open the country to a flood, of nhassimilabk elements. -Mr JStevens quoted Lord Curzon as saying that the common rights of British citizenship cannot override the rights of the overseas Dominions to protect themselves.' Mr Borden promised consideration of the Bill, but pointed out that the end ■of the session was near, and-it was unlikely that facilities would be given for its passage. ' .

In the House of Commons, the Minister stated that the Hindus were offered large supplies of flour, bread-, rice, and fruit, but refused them unless they were given linen, ginger, milk, purified ■butter, fiftv live sheep and goats, a hundred fowls, and two hundred boxes of ■cigarettes. •-■-..■' The officers declare that, the Hindus were eating secretly.-
