(Pee Pbess Association.) Auckland, October 20. Tho master of tho steamer Navua, which arrived from Wcstport, reports that in latitude 40.8 South and longitude 171-53 East, Capo Farwell, bearing South 77 E. magnetic, distant 43 miles, a vessel's wooden mast floating upright about five feet high was sighted. It was covered with marine growth. No signs of a hull attached could be seen, and tlio weather was too bad to investigate. The officers of the Navua believe that tho mast may belong to tho missing barque Mary Isabel.
