PERSONAL.
The Hon. T. Mackenzie and his private secretary (Mr L. E. Johnson) passed through Oamaru from Wellington by the second express last night. On Friday Mr Mackenzie opens the new post office at Balclutha. He will also attend the Dunedin winter show. This afternoon Mr P. Selig, manager of the Christchurch Press Company, who is about to leave on an extended health trip to Australia, was presented with an address by the commercial staff of the Company and also with a handsome travelling bag.
