Rakaia were charged with broaching cargo at Port Chalmers about April 20, anjl stealing four gallons of bottled -whisky and a case of bottled beer (ship's stores). They were convicted and each ordered to' forfeit- £4 10s, half cost of : the stolen liquor, and sentenced, to 14 days' imprisonment.
