The police received intimation this afternoon that Elizabeth M'Ginnity, a iwidow, aged 66 years, residing at KaIrori, took poison in mistake for a cough [mixture, and died before a doctor arI rived. i; Robert Wardrop, a prominent resident of Motueka for many j-ears and •for several years a member of the Harbor board there, died in a private hospital in Wellington last night. He .'underwent an operation last Tuesday, ifrom which he failed to rally. Deceased was 50 years of age.
