REVOLUTION IN MEXICO.

President Diaz, it is understood, is .willing to resign when order is ssst'ored. The rebels have decided to attack :Jaurez on Saturday or Sunday if no reply has-been received from President Diaz as to whether he will resign. Received May 8, at 1.15 a.m. Mexico City, May 7. Madero confirms the report of the armistice with Diaz. There is nothing definite regarding Diaz's retirement. REVOLUTION IN MEXICO. NO PEACE. . . Received May 8, at 8.5 a.m. Mexico City, May 7. Madero is. preparing '. for the offensive. Hcwilr probably direct his first efforts to 'the ' capturh of Jaurez. Madero attributes the failure of the negotiations to'thf inexplicable ambition of Diaz, who refused the request to publish an .announcement of his intention to resign. Madero .promised simultaneously to resign office as provisional president. - Government circles affect to believe that the prospects of peace are still good.
