Auckland, May 8. ; The arrest of William Sogers and Mrs Maud Rogers, charged with.- burglary at Eohn's jewellery shop, Auckland, was made by the police at San Francisco" on the arrival of the steamer Mannka. The arrested.persons are not-known to the' police in New Zealand iunder the names given, and the fact that San Francisco people are able to furnish the alias of tne male suspect leads to a, surmise that" the couple are Americans.
