• [Tissier and Demarest, two boys of 16 and 17, on October Ist, decoyed a. bank messenger, Andre, to a house in the Belleville quarter by means of a forged I bill. They murdered him with a knife and a flat-iron, robbed-his satchel of £l7O, and escaped. When arrested they made cynical confessions, -which showed they had had two days' and nights' dissipation in squandering the. proceeds of the theft.]
