In the Chamber the Foreign Minister, referring to the Potsdam pourparlers, said he was convinced that the interests of Turkey in the Persian Gulf, would not suffer. He "denied that there were pourparlers between Germany and Britain upon the Bagdad railway. Turkey was. assured that such pourparlers would only,\u»K e ' : P.l ac e with Turkey. The Minister said the greatest cordiality existed in the Anglo-Turkish relations. The Chamber approved of the statement.
