DEGENERATES.
(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, December 21. The Hospital Board to-day carried the following motion: "That in view of the increasing burden of maintaining degenerates and their offspring and the danger to the community from the physiological and moral points of v the Board urges on the Government the necessity of establishing a State school for defective girls and a State home for feeble-minded women, with power ot detention in each institution.
