WANGANUI HARBOR.

(Pee Press Association.) Wanganui, November 4. In a report presented to the Harbor ioard to-night, Mr Leslie Reynolds, ansulting engineer in connection with lie scheme of harbor improvements now in progress, makes gratifying reference to the results obtained. "I say candidly," ho says, "that the work so far parried out should be an index of the improvement ahead, and that your Board will have the harbor of the coast, provided that funds arc available to complete the work you have now in hand." . ' The engineer further says he looks to see the harbor made capable of admitting ocean liners to Castlecliff, which, in his opinion, will bo the centre very shortly of an enormous trade.
