(Peb Pbess Association.) , Wellington, November 4. Mr D. C. Bates' summary and forecast are: Rain has fallen about the East Cape and Gisborne, and in the southernmost district, but the weather has been fair to cloudy elsewhere. The low pressure area is passing away east-, ward of East Cape, while another " westerly area is advancing towards the South Island. The present indications aro for cloudy and unsettled weather, and rain probably 'following shortly in most parts of the country. The barometer will probably fall everywhere Boon, especially in the south, and-ihe winds change to freshening northcrlies q in most parts of the country, but espe-: r dally southward of New Plymouth and jj Napier. .- . . -j
