Wniron, was destroyed by fire, with the contents, hist nighty—The occupants (Mr Merrick, bis wife, arid child, and somd boarders) were aroused by. the - servant, who discovered the outbreak in the billiard room. All escaped -in their night attire. The house was owned by the Hancock Company, and insured for £6OO in the Commercial Union. : - .
