HARBOR BOARD ENABLING BILL.

Wellington, October 6. • ■ -•■■-The Oamaru Harbor Board Bill was -reported from Committee to-day, and will be finally dealt with by the House of;-Representatives to-morrow unless there-is' opposition, which is now not lit'all likely. The Bill will bo introduced to the Legislative Council on Tuesday and read a second time on Fn-_ day,, as two clear days must elapse be- ■ tween stages. Consideration in Committee will probably occupy a week, so that -it will be the end of the month before the Bill can bo passed.
