A SPECIALIST'S ADVICE.
11l a rocont issue the Daily "Mail of London published a special article on the care of the hair in which was given the formula for a home-made hair tonic that was highly recommended for its remarkable hair-growing properties, as well as for stopping falling hair, revitalising the hair roots, and destroying the dandruff germ. This article was of special interest to me. a-s the formula was one which 1, myself, have, .seen used in countless eases with most astonishing- benefit, thus continuing my belief that home-made hair preparations are the best For the benefit of chose wlio have not .seen it- before, 1 give the formula- herewith. Procure from .your chemist a fourounce bottle containing three ounces of Day J-hini, one ounce of Lnvnna de Composee (Smith's) and I dram Menthol Crystals. Dissolve the crystals in the Bay Rum. and then add the Lavona de Composee: shako thoroughly and apply night and morning to the roots of the hair, rubbing into the .scalp with the finger tips. This prnpnvation contains no coloring matter, but restores grey hair to its original color by its action on the hair roots. If yon desire it perfumed, add half a spoonful of French Fon Fleur perfume, which combines perfectly with the other ingredients, and imparts a most- pleasing scent. (Do not applv where hair is not desired.) 310
