Bertling, an appeal by the proprietor of Truth against the-verdict- in the libel action on the ground of misdirection by the Chief Justice, the Gonrt held there was no misdirection, nor did the Court consider the damages excessive. -So the appeal was dismissed with costs on the highest scale. Leave was granted to appeal t«>.-the Privy Council upon condition that a. record of .the proceedings lie forwarded within three months.
