Pigeon Flying
The X.O. l'igeon Flying Club flew its Invercargill interval race on Saturday, the distance being 157 miles, airline. The birds were liberated by Mr J, Muir.in fine weather, and a strong head wind to contend against, which militated against, fast times being recorded. The winner turned up in .Messrs J. and K. Baker's Gold Crest. Time, 4hrs 21min lOsec. The following are the results : J. and E. Baker's Gold Crest, 4hr 21min lOsec ... 1 J. Robertson's Favorite, 4hr 32min 40sec 2 J.
