Xiiere have been phenomenal dust storms in several country towns, making it so dark that lamps had to be lit, and business was suspended. The weather is generally much cooler. Melbourne, January 7. The remains of Sir Frederick Sargood will be buried on the 17th. Parliament, the military authorities, and the City Council have asked the family to consent to a public funeral.
