At the firsb wool sale of the season, held this morning, there was a good attendance of buyers. Only 970 bales were offered, and 523 sold. Most of the wool was dirty and dingy, owing to high winds in the spring. Greasy half bred made sjtd and 7&d; crossbred, 4id and 6M ; merino, 5d to merino, 6fd to Bfd ; pieces, 2&d to 5d ; locks, Id to 3d ; scoured halfbred, 8d to 11M ; halfbred pieces, Bd.
