The intercolonial polo match, played at Moonee Valley, between Major Bryan, Captain Halg, Herbert Hill, and Captain Brand (the latter being Lord Hampden's son), representing England, and J. C. Manifold, W. T. Manifold, E. Manifold, and E. R. Delittle, representing Victoria, was won by the colonials by 7 goals and 10 behlnds to 6 goals and 3 behinds. There was a large and fashionable gathering, Including three Governors. The Englishmen hit with greater certainty, bnfc the Victorians were better mounted.
