The Bi-metallic Conference will open in London on May 2nd. The new tariff in Canada reduces the duty on fruit by 5 per cent. The Times says that the reduction in wool duty in the new Canadian tariff refers to woollen goods. Berlin, March 28. It has been arranged that the marriage of the Grind Duke of Hesse to Princess Victoria of Coburg (daughter of the Duke of Edinburgh) shall be the most brilliant of the present time. The wedding will be solemnised at Coburg in a week. St. Petersburg, March 28. Ij is reported that the Czar, at the Sultan's request, has sanctioned the Russian fleet visiting Stamboul.
