MELBOURNE WOOL SALES.

Melboubne, December 2. Messrs Dalgety and Co. report:— •' At our wool sales to-day we offered 3600 bales to the usual large muster of buyers. Bidding was animated, and the advice of the advance in the London market was fully reflected. We eold three thousand two hundred balea at excellent prices. The main feature of the catalogue was the inclusion of several high-class Western district olips, whbh evoked keen competition, prices for these wools being fully equal to the very best of the season. Two lots of greasy wool realised Kid. several others 12i to 14d. There wob very strong competition for all grades of crossbred, snd we think prices were even a little better than last week's. Washed and scoured wool fully maintained previous values."
