TO-DAY'S SALE.

There waa a alight decrease in the number of buyers at Paterson's yards sales today, consequently there was another slight fall in prices for anything but very prime fat sheep. Of fat cattle there were no moderate weights sold at good prices and stores brought prices equal to those of last sales. Messrs Fleming and Hedley sold : on account of the N.Z. and A. Land Company, Totara—2s fat owes at 93, and 25 do. at 8s 6d ; on account of Mr J. Burgess— 40 2-tooth wethers at 93 11a ; on account of Mrs Watßon, Frlston—so crossbred hoggets at 6a 7d, snd 30 ewes at 03 9d; on account of Mr Teschemaker'a trostees—43 fat ewes at 6 3 lOd. They also sold on account of Mr P. Russell and others two fat steers at LG 2s 6d; one do heifer, L 4 153; one do steer, L 5; one do heifer, L 3 15s; ten stores at LI 163; two steers at L 4; and seven good heavy Btora steers at L 3 2a 6d. Mr E. P. Barbury, on behalf the N.Z.L. & M.A. Co., sold on account of W. H. Teschemaker'a trustees 45 fat ewes at 6i lOd. On account of Mr Angus M'Donal, 15 prime fat ewes at 10a 9d. On accounc of Mr A. Hayea, 20 halfbred ewes at 8i 6d, and 12 fat lambß at 63 lOd. On account of Mr W. G. Foster, 1 fat wether at 10s lid, 329 halfbred 2-tooth ewes at 61 63. On account of Mr R. Dnncan, Incholme, 80 ewes In the woo), and lambs at foot at 133. Mr H. Connell Bold on account of Mr G. Cox 35 fat ewes at 9s. There were a number of cows and a few yearling heifers to ofier when our representative left the yard.
