Then when Magna - Gharta, made such an' auspicious debut at 'Dunedin the trio looked good for anything . m the jumping line. Now the team is reduced to the novice. Charlatan has developed leg troubles aiid has been turned; out m the hope that he will be, right for next winter, while Wharncliffe has not recovered from Dunedin mishaps, and is not likely to be at his best when the serious business cpnies along m August. It's an uncertain game all right.
