T TP till the present she has been the ugly duckling of old Simper's illustrious family, but at Wingatui she demonstrated that with a bit of age on her she is making an improvement m her galloping. The hack races at the meeting each contained large fields and luck played a big part m the decision of these events. .. ■ ,- In each of her three starts the Hazlett filly received a shocking run, but she was battling oh at the finish. . She' is undoubtedly coming right with age and will yet show something to merit her notable ancestry. V
