His team will comprise Mint Leaf, Royal Mint, Oration, Hipo and possibly Nastori;" • • * • Mint Leaf has improved out of all knowledge as the result of his Hawkes Bay Cup and will strip a much fitter horse. • « • Royal Mint has been doing good work on the tracks and with R. Taitaiata continues to jump, fences well and those who have watched his track work of late will not neglect him m the Hack Steeples. . . ' i • • * Bevis will .make his debut over the small sticks. The Elysian gelding has been jumping fast and showing good judgment for a beginner. • * * • Troilus is m good nick. He has had a lot of strong work and when schooled; last week showed that he had lost none of his proficiency over the sticks. * * * Enare looks m great heart and with 9.3 should keep the best of them bua^" * j Brown * haß been well satisfied with Qainard's work of late.
