"TRUTH" WRITES-
Malcolm Eraser, Esq., Government Statistician, > Wellington 1 . Dear Sir, '-T : The New Zealand'Ofiicial Year Book has arrived— a year late. We know the stupendous nature of the task which you annually undertake, and we . admit that to produce a volume consisting of 1056 pages packed with statistics and facts isn't a one-day job. Just the same, it seems a little over the odds for the 1927 year book to detail statistics up to only March 31, 1926; , Couldn't you give us something a little more up-tOrdate? Being- so late, the book loses much of its value. In Australia the year books are up-to-the-minute. Why" not make New Zealand the, same? It would do a great deal more, good, and even if it means additional expense and labor, it would be worth it. It's a bad advertisement to send abroad. Yours, :*T ,y "TRUTH."
