NURSE MAUD. "The Sunbeam Sister." Mention her name m Christchurch, and you will hear tributes to a self-sacrificing woman, whose sole aim m life is to serve and help those who cannot help themselves. Nurse Maud, district nurse; works like a Trojan, day m and day out. It matters not whether it is hail, rain or shine — she is always busy on her rounds, yher cheery smile and sunny manner distributing goodwill broadcast.
