TANADEES

TRENTHAM'S HOPE

GOOD CUP CHANCE

Trentham will rely on Tanadees to bring home the bacon m the Avondale Cup, which is decided to-day. Tanadees has had a good preparation for the Cup,, for he has been m work all the winter. He won two races, one over ten furlongs and the other over six : furlongs, at Trentham last month, and last week he won the big handicap at Dannevirke. Tanadees did not seem to have a great deal m hand at Dannevirke, but to those who know him well he won full of running. He is a lazy horse at any time, and Jack O'Shea, who rode hini v last week, will bear out this statement. In to-day's race Tanadees will meet a classy field, but notwithstanding this he will give a good account of himself. He has the condition, he has the rider, and he has the confidence of his owner and_ trainer. What more could be desired? The well bred Glaive is not much good. He is a case of where blood does not tell.
