And Young's Claim.
In a letter to the writer Tom Souter seems to imagine I have a set on his protegee, Em. Young, and he bases this assumption on the paragraph I wrote when he (Souter) applied to the Council on behalf of Young . for the heavy title. Far from it. It. is not my wish to be hard on any boy m the game, but when such a farcical application is made it is my place to comment on it. Souter says that Young is willing to fight any heavy m the game — Modrich for preference. That's better. If Young can' win the title that way>. more's the honor. And good luck to him.
