AUCKLAND BOXING.
Mike Flynn and Paddy Pascoe have set up a gymnasium m Queen-street, Auckland, where they intend to teach the noble art. The gym. will be made up-to-date m every way, and besides teaching the lads how to look after themselves, Plynn and Pascoe will spe l cially cater for business men.
Jerry Whittome, a fairly clever featherweight, is looking for scrap, and if any of the smaller associations are m search of a lively little fighter they could do worse than give Whittome an engagement.
The meeting between Jack Keenan 'and Paul Hannah on the 25th is being looked forward* to with interest m Auckland. Keenan has been out of the game, for some time, but those who ■have x en him at Avork say that he is faster than ever. If this is so then there is a good, hard fifteen rounds m front? of Hannah this month. The Hastings man is said to be a rugged,
hard fighter and past experience has shown that this kind of pug doles well against the Aucklander. One thing is certain, and that is that when Keenan is one of a pair m the ring the fans get their moneys worth. .
