The second day's card is framed on similar lines, and as the meeting this year is held prior to the Napier and Hastings fixtures, it will no doubt be attended largely by Northerners who can catch the meeting on the way South. The total profits of the meeting are to be devoted to the Wounded Soldiers' Relief Fund. Secretary H. 13. Dodd can expect a big entry when the lists close next week.
