A Long-standing Case.

For the past three months a couple "of cases have been blowing m and out of the Dunedin Police Court with . great regularity. It is alleged that on J anuary 21 last Walter Begg Cuinmock, who is a prohibited /person, went into the Law Courts' Hotel, convenient^to the D,unedin Police Court, accompanied by one Pali-, I rick McKay. Informations were, laid against Cummock for entering the hotel, and against McKay for accompanying him. The delay was caused by the action of Cummock, who left the town soon after the alleged offence. Adjournments, of the /case for a month at . a time were granted on liwo or three occasions, as Cummock couldn't be found, -but on April 1 .
