AFTER DRINKING BOUT
ROAD LABOURER DIES INQUEST AT WOODVILLE. Per Press Association. WOODVILLE, January 10. An inquest was held til's morning concerning the death of Robert Russell, a labourer on contract road making in tho Eketaliuna County. He was 48 years old, and married, with a wife and child in Ireland.
His death occurred in a whare at Woodvillo on Saturday afternoon following a drinking bout. Deceased and his brother had been holidaying in Napier, and arrived at Woodville on Tuesday. Tho coroner's verdict was that death camb from the effects of chronic intestinal pneumonia and acute alcoholism. The brothers had been in the Dominion for two years.
