SIR JOHN ROSS’S BEQUESTS
SPREAD OVER TAVELVE YEARS

DUNEDIN, January 10. Under the will of the late Sir John Ross the public bequests total £16,200, to be spread over 12 years. Annual bequests were left to the following: — Home Mission Fund, Foreign Missions Fund, AVidows and Orphans Fund, and aged and infirm ministers fall of tho Presbyterian Church), Presbyterian Social Service Association, Salvation Army, Dunedin, the Otago University for commercial educational purposes, and the Patients and Prisoners’ Aid Society. All received £IOO each. The Y.M.C.A. and the Dunedin City Mission receive £25 each, and £SOO annually has been bequeathed to Knox College, also for a period of 12 years.
