NEW PRINCESS THEATRE

TWO GOOD FILMS. Thrills that mak one grip the seat, and hold hard, laughto that bring tears to the eyes, humour that pieroes one’s heart with its Irish wistfulneas, all are combined in the great adventure picture, “Mike,” which is now screening at the New Princess Theatre. Fascinating Sally O’Neil is the star in this feature. It is the tale of a motherless little Irish girl and a victim of fate, who between, them make good and thwart a desperate gang of bandits. The other featured players are William Haines, Charles Murray, Ford Sterling, Ned Sparks, and Sam do Grasse. The second feature is “The Roughneck,” featuring the athletic George O’Brien and Billie Dove. This is an enthralling story of the South Seas in which some thrilling episodes are enacted. A fight with a shark is one of the best parts of this wonderful film.

The supporting programme includes a comedy and gnzetto, while appropriate music is played by the orchestra.
