A POOR RELATIVE
At the wedding anniversary of a certain oil magnate, one of the guests, noticing a lonely-looking and rather shab-bily-attired man in a corner of the room, walked over to him.
“I was introduced to you,” -he 6aid, “but T did not catch, your name.” "My name,” replied the other, “is Simpkins.” “Oh, then, you are a relative of our host.” “Yes,” rejoined the “poor relation,” “I am his cousin, fiye hundred thousand pounds removed.”
