INFECTIOUS DISEASE
NORMAL CONDITIONS FOOD PREMISES SATISFACTORY, The District Health Office reported to Thursday night’s meeting of tha City Conned that the incidence of inFectious _ disease continued normal, there being one more case notified during this period, as compared with the three weeks ended August 6th. Thera has been an increase of ten cases of scarlet fever, and a reduction of eleven cases of diphtheria. Only one case of pneumonic influenza was notified during the period. It was further reported that with the exception of six meat vendors, who have failed to secure license or who have failed to comply with the regulations, and against whom summonses have been applied for, all meat vendor* had been licensed, which is an indication that such promisee are now in • satisfactory condition.
