BURIAL OF VALENTINO
FAIRBANKS A PALLBEARER MEMORIAL TO BE ERECTED. Reuter’s Telegram. (Received August l 29, 11.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, August 28. Douglas Fairbanks, several picture directors and producers, and two countrymen of the late Rudolph Valentino, will carry his body to St. Malachi’s Church for the funeral services on Monday. Pola Negri, dressed in mourning, anti cn route to New York, did not emerge from her seclusion on Saturday as the train rolled through Chicago. The secretary of the Valentino memorial committee has received many sacks of letters, believed to contain contributions to the memorial fund. They will not he opened till offices are established next week.
