The Hawke’s Bav-Wa;irarapa junior representative match ivas played at Masterton on Saturday afternoon in wet weather. In the first spell Williams kicked a penalty goal and potlod a goal, and Mat--Ihews scored a try. WairaTapn being ten points up before Hawke's Bay scored. 'Then tho Bay backs got going, and from a neat passing rush Huxtable scored, but no goal resulted. The Bay kept up tho attack, and Giorgi got over from another passing rush. Towards th® close of the spell Palmer ssnt the Bay backs away again, and Martin scored after a rlorlgv run, the spell ending: Wairarapa 10, Bay 9 Tn tho second half Matthews got over for Wairarapa, but no goal resulted, making the score 13 points to 9. Then TTnxtnble scored near the nosts for the Bay, but the kick failed. The game became open and fast, and though Wairarapa fought well, the Bay added two tries in the last quarter of an hour, Hannah and Huxtahlo getting over, but no goals resulted.
