SHIP BREAKS IN TWO

It is feared that nearly 100 lives have been lost as the result of a ferry boat disaster at the mouth of the Hooghly. The vessel, after being buffeted by wind and waves, capsized and broke in two. Tho passengers and cattle were carried away by the force of the current. A few survivors reached the Noakbali Coast. All those dead were Indian peasants.
