AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 29. In the final of the Auckland Golf Club championship, R. D. Wright defeated W. S. Ralph, 9 and 7. HUTT CLUB MIXED FOURSOME. The members of the Hutt Club participated in a mixed foursome on Saturday, the entries for which were small, owing to the weather. The leading score was excellent, considering conditions. Following were the best cards: —G. W. Giddy and bliss Whitcombe (20) 1 down: W. H. Zander and Mrs Murphy (9), 2 down; M. Evans and Miss K. Fowler (13), 5 down; E. C. E. Holm wood and Miss Murphy (11), 4 down.
