ELECTION OF OFFICALS. (Special to ''Times/') MASTERTON, August 29. At the annual meeting of the Carterton Racing Club on Saturday afternoon the following officers were elected:—Patron, Hon. A. D. McLeod; president, Mr W. Howard Booth; vice-presidents, Messrs W. C. Deller and C. Reid; stewards. Messrs P. Bain, A. E. Booth, L. 11. Smart, C. Reid, E. J. Matson, R. G. Kemble, T. H. Hughes, J. C. Harp, W. J. Denbee, H. M. B. Trapp, A. C. Tucker, A. E. Feast, and Dr. M. B. Tweed; treasurer, Mr O. A. Cole; hon. surgeons, Drs. Johnston, Tweed and Young; handieapper, Mr J. E. Henrys; clerk of the scales, Mr W. C. Deller; starter, Mr C. O'Connor; judge, Mr W. P. Russell; timekeeper, Mr E. J. Matson.
