OLD AND NEW

CHANGE AT FULLERS'. Just as it requires ali kinds of people to make a -world, there are turns and turn 6 comprising Fullers' new programme for the current week. Elton Black calls his revue "A Box of Tricks,” and some of them were tricks from the box of long ago. We have seen them before. Many of the sketches and songs were novel and picturesque, however, and the principals of the show helped to carry over an opening ensemble, ‘‘We're Just Here to Sing,” and ‘‘Mississippi,” in which Alice Bennetto was a trifle forced. Elton Black upholds the comedy side and is starred in the bewhiskered sketch "Caught Again,” and again in "Just Like That.” Neva Carr Glynn and Curley Sherwood appear in front line parts, the former pleasing her audience with "We're Together Again," and the latter striking a favourable chord with a diversion,

“Thanks for the Buggy Ride," with the girls. Chas. Sherman, Arthur Clarke, Fercy McKay, and Chas. Megan sang, and Dot Creswell danced with Ray McLean The revue is, in many ways, truly a box of tricks. All will regret the departure of the St. Leon Troupe of flying acrobats and athletes, who accomplish some astounding aerial gyrations and some marvellous balancing stunts. Their somersaulting in mid-air is hair-raising. Harry North, the concertina swaggie, swagged bn with "The Turkish Patrol;" rippled through a bit of the classics, and swagged off with a melody of "Ukelele Lady," “Yearning,” and other favourites. His was the greatest reception of the night, and he merited it. Frank Foster and Robert Needham appear for the first time, and name their turn "Going to the Party ” It should Re "After the Party.” They possess splendid voices, and besides solo songs, combined last night with pleasing effect in duets. They will be enjoyed. Hastings and Adair are hilled to give new comedy-musical items. Seme of them are. This programme will show for the remainder of the week.
