CHANGE EXPECTED (Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (4 p.m. yesterday) are for strong southwest to north-west winds northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and northerlies strong to gale shortly elsewhere. Increasing cloudiness and haziness for a general change. Rain following soon on the West Coast and southern districts. Barometer falling everywhere. D. C. BATES. Meteorological Office. Wellington.
