FIRE AT BROOKLYN
DWELLING SUFFERS DAMAGE At 1.37 a.m. yesterday tho Fire Brigade received a call to 32, Mills road, Brooklyn, where an outbreak had occurred in a wood and iron fiveroomed private residence, owned by Mrs Eleanor Evelyn Mears, and occupied by Felix Gordon Franklin. The kitchen and washhouse with contents were severely damaged by fir© and water, while the remainder of the rooms suffered from heat and smoke. The building is insured in the New Zealand Insurance Company for £7OO, while the contents were insured in tho Commercial Union Company for £2OO.
