SIR PATRICK HASTINGS
RETIREMENT ANNOUNCED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received June 25, 7.5 p.m.) LONDON, June 25. Sir Patrick Hostings has decided to give up Parliamentary worw, owing to ill-health. Sir Patrick, who is 45 years of age, has been the Labour member for Wallsend since 1922. A distinguished barrister. lie was made Attorney-General in the Labour Government in 1924.
