BANK OFFICERS’ GUILD

ANNUAL CONFERENCE ELECTION OF EXECUTIVE. Per Prps« Association. AUCKLAND, June 25. The annual conference of the New Zealand Bank Officers* Guild opened to-day. The report stated that the membership was 200, and that 28 officers had secured the University Diploma of Banking during the year. The following officers were elected: President, Mr Brunton (Wellington)* vicepresidents, Messrs Savage (Auckland;, Dixon (Wellington), Wrightson (Christchurch), and Caverhill (Invercargill); auditor, Mr Fookes (Wellington): executive committee, Messrs Hulston, Connal, Redpath, Bnnnnaby. O’Brien, Steel, McFadyen, O’Callaglion, and Murphy, all of Wellington. The delegates Were entertained last evening by the Auckland section at a smoke concert. About 200 hank officers, including the local managers, attended.
