PARAMOUNT THEATRE
“THE ONLY WAY” AND “THE SUNBEAM . CHILDREN.” Commencing this afternoon the management of Hie Paramount Theatre announce that they have secured, for a final session in Wellington of six days and nights ; the attraction that has created such an impression at the Grand Opera House, in the First National British produced' film, “The Only Way,” and also its stage associate attraction, the Sunbeam Children, from Svdnev in First National’s “The Only Way.” Sir John Martin Harvey, as Sidney Carton, in this adaptation of his famous stage play has earned even greater praise for his film portrayal than in the original stage version. The scope of the camera is so much wider that it has enabled Sir John to give what he describes as a “broader” portrayal. The Sunbeam Children from Sydney will present the second programme submitted at the Grand Opera House and embodied in their original children’s pantoufime, “The Wedding of Baby Kerr.” Jackie Clark, Baby Kerr, Stella Lamond, the Beauty Ballet, the Baby Ballet, and the Royal Wonders will he seen. in the items that were so successful in tho second Grand Opera House programme.
